These are my thoughts for the graduation night...

It is the day when we are going to gather together for the last time...under the name of Catholic High. It is the day when many of us can't bear to leave this school and each other too. It is also the day when we have to face reality and get on with challenges in life.

We are now the alumni of the school, and even if we leave, its our duty and responsibility to contribute continually too, in all aspects.

10 years in the same school, same environment, it is really a great change for me next year. Maybe i will take some time to adapt to my new life, of not wearing the Catholic High uniform, of not walking to Catholic High for the first time in 10 years. I cannot hide my feelings of not wanting to leave. A lot has happened in this school, the strong stable bonds that we have built with our teachers, friends and the school too. However, its time, its really time to leave. We have to face the reality that this is only a part of our lives, things coming and leaving...

When we step out of Catholic High, we have fulfilled our school vision, we are groomed into true gentlemen of high intergrity and robust character( pardon me...). When i came here, we were only innocent-looking boys, but now, we have grown into men, ready to face the turbulences and realities of life. We have undoubtedly been living in a protected environment in our school But after we leave, there is no one to protect us or depend on, we have fight and survive in this society. Hopefully, many years later, we can gather together and remisicise the bliss we enjoyed when young...

We are finally leaving, all that is left are the memories that we have here, whether happy or painful. Catholic High will always have a special place in my heart.

Its quite interesting to see the different appearances and suits that all of us came in on graduation dinner. Dinner is only a formality, what really matters is the emotions involved, and that we will always remember our school and our time here. Oh ya, not to forget to comment on the food. Can i say a word? It sux really. Cheap stuff, small quantities, not worth the cash we paid. The programme was average, what really sets my heart throbbing was the lucky draw...I guess it was an unforgettable night for eveyone of us.

Go Catholic High Gentlemen!
