Kallang Roar shakes National Stadium once again!

Cheers of "OLE OLE OLE" were heard throughout Kallang as our Lions triumphed over bitter arch-rivals Malaysia on penalties.

It was great to be part of the party at Kallang with jy, bryan and kezhong. Luckily we bought the tics a few days earlier, cos they were all sold out hours before the match starts. The party outside the stadium before the match was cool, with people giving out red-coloured posters, and bryan kop 3 for himself...And it was an interesting sight to see 3 Malaysians in yellow, with 1 drapping the Malaysian flag over him in a sea of red, that was damn guai lan!

We found a good view of the pitch, with some interesting Malays behind us shouting lots of Malay vulgarities, which none of us could understand, for instance, butok. But anyway, we juz follow them and shout butok butok! The last time i saw a full hse Kallang was during last Tiger Cup Final win over Indonesia, when we lifted the trophy! The time i came here was the Asian cup qualifier with China, when i literally felt like an away fan, with 1/2 the stadium all china supporters.

Well, S'pore vs Malaysia is always a game of passion, action and emotion. It's like a derby match between 2 teams desperately wanting to get 1 over the other. It was quite a pathetic sight to see a small section of malaysian supporters among us, and there was constant intimidation and taunting among fans of both teams. Sometimes during the match, we would juz stand up, face them and shout or do all kinds of taunting like pointing middle fingers or wad.

A fight is not far away. If Malaysia had won instead, i don't think any malaysian can get out safely.

Emotions run wild. The famous Kallang wave was back again, and the traditional stamping of the foot on the ground rocked the stadium totally. And we could only see the Malaysian supporters doing the wave from front to behind...An interesting sight was that everytime we sit down after a wave, there would be people scattering pieces of papers around. And there was also paper aeroplane flying all around Kallang, thanks to the posters given out by nike...

Booing at the Malaysian National Athemn was always a must for us, while it was fun to see so many people singing the Majulah Singapura at Kallang. Throughout the match, the noise created was deafening, and boos were heard when an opponent fouls us. We saw a guy with long golden hair walking past, and someone from behind shout "Wah seh, a Lion!"

When S'pore was down 1-0, suddenly we were very quiet, but we always believe that our team won't let us down. And so when Ridhuan scores that precious equaliser, we were all hugging each other and giving hi-5s!

Then even got people shout "Go home lah, we don't need your water supply, we can make our own water!!!" Then me and my frens went on to shout "NEWATER!"

Then the penalty kick can get heart attack one. When the last kick came, Lionel Lewis had to save it, and we were all stamping the ground wif our foot, and believe me, those with a weak hut will sure collapse, cos it almost felt like an earthquake. I guess the last penalty take got affected by it and made a weak kick. When Lionel Lewis saved it, all kinds of cheers were heard throughout Kallang, as the players hug tgt and came forward to thank the fans for their presence. Now that we are thru to the final, mighty Thailand stands in our way of Asean supremacy. We will be champions once again!

Roar Lions Roar!!

S'pore are thru to the semis of the ASEAN championships!!

Its great to see the Lions hitting top form at the right time, the most shocking being the 11-0 win over Laos. But its quite funny to see S'pore wearing blue in a home match, shldn't red be the traditional colour instead?

Hope they can go on to win it again:)

Now back to reality, as huangcheng steps into full force, all the problems sets in. Orientation was fun, no doubt abt tt, but after tt, the honeymoon period's over. Jus hav to CHIONG ALL THE WAY. And the pressure is heating up as well. Former Lights senior Bingkai came over to see how we've been doing and asked for my lights plot. I was like...wad the hell? Haven even started yet...Then got reminded of the fact tt Gabriel would have finished his lights plot by this period of huangcheng....Looks like i still have a long way to go...Jus hope i dun end up like Junyi shi fu, who finished 1 day before bump-in, tt's wad i call imba!

The days when i leave sch in the dark are back again, and its something tt every huangcheng ren have to get used to. Last wk also saw some lights juniors quitting. I got 10 members at orientation, now lights only left with 7 juniors. Nevermind, lesser people easy to control, and we'll work tgt well! Somehow, i forsee a lot of conflicts and arguments going on during this gruelling period...so i hope i can maintain my cool if things dun work out my way.

加油,黄城人!

A campfire without a fire, but it doesn't make any difference, still rox totally:)

No one could blame the rain for destroying all that we have been anticipating. Even if its switched to the hall, the excitement and cheers were all there. Our junior class rocks man! By representing Artemis for the campfire item, they have achieved something tt we couldn't do it last yr. Everyone was 'high' all night!

J2s were all spamming their sec sch uniforms as part of campfire traditions. Luckily, i could still fit into my chs uniform, which yielded unwelcome laughs from ignorant ppl like xinyu. Even sang the chs sch song and recited the chs pledge with former 6Jcian PengSing. The last time i wore this uniform was like 9 months ago. Cetainly feels good to be wearing short pants again :P

But the orientation t-shirt is still not appealing enough. Seems tt there's a template to follow, which is abt the same as last yr. Why must our orientation t-shirt have a big and clear Hwa Chong logo in front? No wonder we dun see many ppl wearing their orientation t-shirt on the streets, as compared to schs like RJ, whose shirts looks jus like a normal shirt, with no clear indication tt its from tt particular sch.

Bonded well with our junior class, which have a pathetic 7 gals as usual. Went to have roti prata opposite Beauty World for supper, and it was all the usual true or dare, doing crazy acts in public like taking a potato chip from a gal's mouth using ur mouth.

Received death threats from my mortal asking for letters. It came right after my Maths test on Friday, which i had given up on. After i took my Maths test, i saw this 'FailNote' inside the letter box, which says tt "Muggin for Maths test is not a reason for not writing letters. If you dun write letters to us, thou shall get 'U' for your Maths Test!" Wad the hell is this? Juniors cursing seniors, 没大没小!

Audition for Huangcheng jus ended last week. It was quite interesting watching those ppl act out their parts, but it was quite a difficult time for me trying to persuade others to join. Ask my chs juniors? forget it! Although there's been quite an astonishing influx of chs ppl in hc this yr, much more than our batch, believe me, NO ONE from chs will join huangcheng!! (Although i really doubt how many chs ppl will still be here after 1st 3 months)

CLDDS has always been despised in chs, due to a high influx of PRCs and Malaysians, which i agree totally although i was from cldds...Currently, i believe tt are no locals frm chs cldds, since my batch graduated, widely regarded as the golden batch of chs cldds, achieving the highest peaks in cldds during our time. I'll be very surprised if anyone from chs joins huangcheng, its quite hard to persuade them and change their mindset.

Tml will be huangcheng orientation. For once i'll be an OGL, OG 14 rox! Looking forward to it:)

A post to be remembered for. A great milestone. This is my 150th post of my blogging career!

And guess wad, it'll be dedicated to Erika Todaaaaaaaa~!!!

MisaMisaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~!!!

DeathNote was really a great movie! Watched the movie 2 times at the cinema just because of MisaMisa!!! She rocks man:) Deathnote was the first movie that prompted me to watch 2 times in the cinema. Discussed with friends after watching it for the first time, and found a lot of queries, question marks and confusion over the plot. So decided to watch it again, and found a few flaws in the movie...But it was a really cool movie, yea!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

May All of You Have a Wonderful Year Ahead!!

Wonderful arh, i hope...After all the celebrations and best wishes, something tells me that i'm not really looking forward to 2007, esp with A levels looming around...Well, its been a great 2006 for me, and its been quite a turning point in my life.

2007 is here, nothing will change, life sux, as usual...

Holiday hw are still there, lying around, collecting dust, waiting to be completed...i've given up on them already...

Went vivo for the first time with the Harbin gang on saturday, comprising, me, anqing, jion, zw, pok, weilin, samq to have dinner and also shopping around. As usual, zw is playing with his zai camera and takng lots and lots of photos. Its great to see everyone again:) Dinner was at Carl's Junior, probably the most ex. fast food i've ever eaten, and the burger is damn bloody big!! After that, went to walk around. Tink we've only covered a small fraction of vivo, and window shopping is certainly not the stuff for me, esp when u've no cash with you. You can only see things and cannot buy them...Vivo is a really gigantic place, and the rooftop is great too!

Yesterday went to sherman's house for majong, which was a random decision. Bryan brought back some fake jerseys from Thailand for us, and i got a Rooney jersey, which was qute fake...We tried to order pizza hut but it was fully booked, so turn to KFC family feast. Then we keep on wishing everyone Selamat Hari Raya and got all crazy and drunk, lolz!

Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007!
