We had our class gathering 2 days ago at the Aloha Changi chalet. The place was very 'ulu' and who knows what may happen in the night. We wanted to go to Loyang, but Ms Phua said that Changi was close to nature....what the hell...I still have Physics remedial and SS seminar on that day lah, which ended at about 1pm. Then i rushed home to take a quick bath, and have lunch, and packed my stuff before arriving at Bishan Mrt to meet Sherman at about 2pm. Waited for about 20mins before Sherman came. As we still have to wait for Kevin, so we loiter around J8. When we went past Golden Village, well...saw something that we were not supposed to see...hahaz.

Met Kevin later, and we reached Tampines Mrt before 3.30pm, wow, that was quite fast, and kept the guys waiting for 1/2 an hour. Met up with the RI lads and Zhi Rui, where we took 29 to the chalet. Met Ms Phua, Ms Ku, Yang Shun and other Chinese High lads there, and they realised that we've brought nothing...So me, sherman and Zhi Rui went with Ms Ku to Changi Village to buy some drinks and snacks. After that, it was soccer time before bbq. Unfortunately, some kids were eyeing our camping ground...so we decided to be 'gentlemen' and changed our field. Sherman was the man of the moment!

Ms Phua shouted for us to cook the food, and i was appointed the one and only susuage man, and Sherman was the satay man. Peng Seng came, together with his lame and cold jokes that have us freezing...Then Kezhong came up with his stupid racist jokes again. He also told us that there was this Bishan gay, who would camp around the mrt or bus-stops to look at RI guys. He would take 156 to chinese high to look for guys and back to RI again...sicko....Then one day, kezhong go and talk to him, saying what, yo dude, how's ur day? Then the gay gave him those kind of retarded smile...

Kezhong and Ernest kept going to chalet B, dunnoe why. There must be a reason why they kept going there. Then i went with them and saw....oh my gosh...no wonder lah.

Later, we went for the Board Walk, and kept on scaring each other about ghost and spirits. We reached a small hut and decided to tell ghost stories there...There are so many ghost stories about cat high and RI lah, since we were built on cementery...about the Olympic size swimming pool of RI that was never such a size, becos they couldn't dig past the area...Then there was 1 year in cat high when a Father came to perform a ritual ceremony...

We went back to play soccer, it was about 10pm, and jonathan finally came. It was something like a "midnight soccer", and difficult to play since we wouldn't see the ball and each other clearly. I went to take a nice cool bath later, and was quite refreshed. It was very dark and quiet now, and quite eerie too...Kezhong and Ernest teached us to play bridge, the most popular game of RI. It was quite complicated lah, but i roughly pick up the game, and understand the gist of it.

At around 1 am, Ms Phua brought out her majong set, and its overnight majong time! Ms Ku taught everyone how to play, and we became quite addicted to the game. Majong is quite an educational game that make u think! This is becoming to be a majong workshop lah...

Played majong until about 4am, before we went upstairs for a few rounds of bridge. Then something funny happened. kezhong was saying if we want to tell ghost stories, and when he switch on the TV, there was a horror movie trailer, and there was this ghost lady floating...You can see Kezhong's face lah, it was really quite scary...

Sherman's laptop was up for grabs, and Ms ku and Ms phua slept, while we have fun. At around 8am, we went downstairs for majong again. i think we are getting very addicted to it lah. i'm getting the feeling of majong...Kin Wai was acting very crazy lah..and ms phua and ms ku were kind enough to buy us breakfast. We checked out at close to 11am, and i hitched a ride from Ms ku back to Bishan Mrt, skipping A Maths remedial....no choice lah.

Term 1 of the year comes to a close today. And that brings us nearer to our O Levels...About 8 months from now. Time really flies, in just a short time, we are in our so-called March Holidays. But the question is, is this really a holiday? What are Holidays for really? All those remedials and lessons...And tons of holiday homework piling up. There will also be some tests when school reopens. Come on lah, its just a week, we are human beings, how to do so much stuff within one week? I guess holidays are just a time for us to study and catch up with our studies, and to be mentally prepared for the challenges ahead. To me now, every second counts...

At least I could still look forward to my primary school gathering next week......

Yesterday, we had a lecture on English oral. And ms krishnan showed us a very funny version of "The 3 Little Pigs". It has Singlish containing Chinese, Hokkien and Malay. It was really very amusing lah. Frankly, i think that Singlish is a very good part of the Singapore culture. We should be proud of it. Every country has their own style of English. I believe Singlish can only be heard in Singapore, and no where in this world. It is a good mixture of the different cultures here, so feel great about it! But don't ever use it in exams!

Went for the Radio Forum at st nicholas today, think that it will be a very good experience to attend such a forum. The debate was on "Schools could do more to prepare students for life". I guess we have discussed so much about education, but at the end of the day, we still have to study, we still have to do well in exams, we still have to get our A1s. Bad thing was that our whole class had to write a 1000-word essay on this...But nevermind, its quite a nice topic to write on.

Our vice-principal, Mr wibur wong, is leaving us today for principalship. We feel sad as well as happy for him. I guess he is the best vice-principal we have had in my 10 years here. Thank You, Mr Wong!

Tomorrow will be the Reunion Day! Our primary school will be walking all the way from Ang Mo Kio campus to our Bishan campus..."The Long March". We have waited for a long 3 years liao, finally our whole school can be reunited. It will be a joyous occasion, but we were forced to buy a $10 funfair ticket each...Catholic High will be a worldclass school! Let the Cat High spirit continue!
