Yay!! I've finally finished 'mugging' harry potter and the deathly hallows!!
Okay, that was a bit slow...but i want to enjoy the book and keep the suspense for some days
Not like those ppl who finished it in 1 or 2 days, not as crazy though...haha
Hate those ppl and their spoilers who kept on talking abt the book when you haven finish reading...
And the names of harry's sons are really lame...
Would rate it as a good book though, the action and climax...
Looks like everyone's wrong about Snape.

Was reading the book on a random day when my dad came into the room and said "A level 有考 arh?" erps...

Why is everyone reminding me of the remaining days to a levels? It gets on my nerve sometimes, i know its less than 100 days, arghhh!

But then it also means that its closer and closer to the end of my life in hc.
Guess i'll treasure the remaining days here, really...
The end of school life rather.

Time seems to be playing a joke on us i wonder. Approximately 40 more days to the prelims and around 100 days to the A levels. Time is really running short, and a lot of things are still undone. After looking at bt2 overall results, i seriously need a miracle for my A lvls, to improve at lighting pace maybe...Look at the state i'm in now, i don't know how bad can i get...

Here's a breakdown of all my bt2 results:

GP : S (nothing to say, augy the walking dictionary-cum-thesaurus is my tutor. Compre was just pathetic, 0 for AQ, wtf??)
Maths : U (Drop from B last time, but cannot be blamed cos of the killer paper, few survived...but then maths remains 1 of the subjects which i'm really confident of)
Physics : U (Improved by 100% from last time but still fail?? Wad the hell, is this a joke? 1 mark away from S, quite sad...and we were the worst class for physics)
Econs : C (pleasant surprise, but take into account that we only have to mug 1 topic for essay, which is super slack, i never really touch on econs during hols..)
CLL : B (I guess this remains 1 of my better subjects, maybe its due more to my crapping ability than my mugging skills...Remains the only subject which i had not failed since entering hc)

4个字 : 惨不忍睹!

Its exactly the same at bt1 results, no significant improvement at all! The more you mug, the more you fail? What's the point of mugging? I definitely mug more this time than bt1 (whether its enough or not is another thing), but still? Mug for wad? Really got use like that! Nothing's changed, everything's still the same! Or maybe this is my true capability after all.

What now? Am i really losing it? I think so

My confidence is shattered. In deep shit i'm. I know i'm in trouble. I know i've to put in more effort (All my tutors are telling me that...). But is that enough? Time is already not on my side...and so little energy in me...

No matter how many times i shout Fuck, its no use at all.

I need to rebuild my confidence fast and find motivation to chiong the remaining days...but how? How to build your confidence when you mug and find that its no use? Operation chiong was supposed to work i thought? I was wrong...

Am i tired? No i'm not. Its too early for me to be tired, there's still a long way to go, i can't be tired now.

I'm so lost right now, will i ever find my way?

Don't regret doing the things i did, and never will.

We should be doing lots of fun and exciting stuff at 18-years-old, instead of drowning yourself in piles and piles and piles of notes. My life seems like a joke too, even i myself am a joke...

I think i'm getting crazy.

I knew this was going to happen! Yea, when i came home all wet and still dripping yesterday. A mass brawl and havoc. Yea if u guessed it right, i was thrown into the pool during class bbq at lan guan's house. In fact, i think daoteng and shengbin were the only guys who were completely dry yesterday. Why muz the bbq pit be so close to the pool? But then i was not the worst off, people wearing jeans like ernest and xulin were not let off either. Juz feel damn cold and heavy after a swim, haha! Why didn't any of the gals get wet arh? It started off with some splashing and playing, but developed to some struggling, throwing and diving...Luckily i had a ride on kenny's (aka june yang's bf) car back home, and fortunately, my parents were asleep by that time, lolz!

Oh yea, and we saw spencer toh last week and played bball with him, our canadian pri sch fren. Haven seen him for 6 years already and his face is still as guai lan as ever. And here's an interesting msn convo between sherman and spencer which sherman showed me.

spencer: want to play bball on weekend??
sherman: u play?
spencer: ya
spencer: kezhong said ur good
sherman: ok...

If u can't sense the "guai lan"ness inside here, its okay...

Was asked back to give the juniors lights lesson with isaac and meijin this coming fri and sat. I doubt if they can take it 2 days in a row. Have to take some time to prepare for the lesson too. Saw gabriel on fri discussing some stuff with kianyang, he's certainly a better teacher than me. Dun really mind helping them lah, especially when i've to return to VT next month to help out in chs drama production again. Time to crap with the technicians again!

And Order of the Phoenix really sux like hell. The shortest harry potter film, one of the thickest book, enough said? They cut off a lot of interesting parts, and i had a strong feeling the story wasn't developed to the fullest. The acting was not satisfying also. Disappointed! But then there is Deathly Hallows to look forward to, which is coming out this week!!

I've already decided that mugging is going to be part of my life from now on, whether i'll stick to that decision is another thing, but there's seriously a lot of things in life than juz mugging. I wan to leave hc with memories that will carry me throughout my life. My future? Do i even have a future? Saw this quote somewhere, couldn't remember but i tink its quite meaningful.

"Try the impossible, cause the possible don't seem to work."

Hmm the impossible?

And that ends CHMA yesterday, aka Cat High Music Awards. Our all-time favourite mc Mark is finally back from tekong! With his charisma and egoistic humour, and also to the ability to stir up excitement among the crowd.

Went to cine kbox with the 4-11 dudes daniel, gh and xings in the morn yesterday, and seriously, k lunch food is like deterioriating like hell now, maybe we can consider going other places to sing next time. Its juz pathetic...We went to play some pool after that, and i had 1 of my worst off-day ever, a 10+ game losing streak that never ended....wth?? At times i got thrashed, at times i was so close to winning but freaked out at the last shot. I guess inconsistency is a big problem with my pool these days, sometimes i can hit 3 or 4 straight shots and even unbelieveable ones, sometimes i miss the no0b straight shots...sigh

okay now back to CHMA. Don't wan to pick too much in this after witnessing all the effort they took to prepare for this performance. Yes, it was definitely much better than your average 歌谣, 6 moving heads playing around was no joke. I went back on thur and fri for fun with zhongwei, leech and ashhao, and also help them in what i could, but it was more of a get-together for us all, ya the 2-9 oofers, and ashhao even said "Its only when i'm here then i can shout Fuck." Quite true...We took some interesting photos like the "Hail Edward(sch founder)!" and the "statue with the plastics bag on his head". Too back zw haven send me the photos, it'll be uploaded soon...

Not many familiar faces here. Edwin heng was the judge as usual. Saw szehuan and his gal, qin zheng, dacks, boonkiat, jon, sng, toon...And also samq, pok and jieying cos zw asked them to come, haha! The 2 cousins zw and ashhao were all over the place with their super-zai cameras and taking all kinds of shots. Although technical wise they were of high quality, vocal standards have gone down as expected.

When we came to the boring instrumental section, you can see a significant decrease in the hall crowd. As usual, we went out to crap and relax or even shout until the instrumental part was over, not to mention going on a tour around chs...The rock band part was not so "rocky" and the audience was never really 'high'. Yea, i had to mention that passion among the audience was really lacking this year...

And surprisingly some rv principal came and talk lots of crap, gosh he was damn long winded lah, then many of us tried to clap for him to end his speech...Why was it him and not hak boon who was up there giving out the prizes? that's funny, mayb hakboon might cause some crowd trouble if he ever went up on stage...Of course there were the usual "hakboon hakboon" chants from us, not to mention the "Fuck you hakboon!" which was quite loud and obvious...especially among the old boys...Oh well, this may be the last year of chma...maybe

Maths was the first paper i got back, and guess wad? i got 35!! Not very surprising cos zw and jy(aj) got 7, xinyu tyco 24, leech frm tj got 27. I guess all the maths papers all over s'pore jcs was equally tough as well this time. They are desperate to kill us. So i dun tink i'll be affected much by 35, who cares lah, only A lvls most important!! And i got 12/25 for econs essay, a 50% improvement from last time, so close to passing, but not really good cos we are only tested on ONE topic(market failure), yes you are not seeing things, its ONE topic only! Sigh...and we are going to have our prelims at the end of the term, time is running out...

Mid yrs gone? not yet, still got that damn bloody physics paper 3 to bother with...shit man, wad is this crap? But if nothing goes wrong, i'm going to dao it! Yes, slacking has already started! Physics can go eat shit. I've a feeling that this block tests is no different from the last one, still as screwed up as before, aiya, heck care, only A lvls most important! Okay, now for a quick run of my expected grades for blocks:

GP--S (essay was okay, but compre was quite ownage, hopefully i won't drop to a U)
Maths--U (fucked up paper, dunno wad to say. I seriously dun even feel like reading the qn towards the last pg, guess how bad was it?)
Physics--S (I'm NOT going to get an 18 again!!)
Econs--E (Hope can pass ba...)
CLL--C (Tricky question, cos i never know where my crapping skills are going to land me...)

Well, IF i can pass everything this time round, it would be a GREAT achievement! Haizz....

Went back for homecoming day yesterday at chs, and i found out that the school is looking more and more like a museum. Maybe Hakboon can consider charging visitors admission fees next time to appreciate the 'exhibits' and to earn money as well...Splashing white paint on the roof "A Gentlemen and Biligual scholar in the making" If you tink that's not ridiculous enough, there are even "flying birds" in the sky outside the general office. Not to mention the porcelain "showcase" outside the staffroom...I've nothing to say, what is the sch turning into? what's on hakboon's mid these days? Have he not screwed up the sch enough?

But then our class tile painting outside the staffroom which we did during youth day 2 years ago was still intact, although its been corroded a lot. At least that was one of the MORE familiar stuff around. Saw zhongwei, leech, sherman, ruikang, jiasheng there also. Jiasheng looks much more muscular and mature after entering army. Ruikang has finally grown taller!! And some of my juniors have grown taller as well, like victor. Wilson, kr were also there as well. ks came towards lunchtime after his tuition, and he has another tuition in the afternoon...wah seh, damn zai! And also spotted toon, jon and sng. Toon shaved his head for fun i guess, but i guess they didn't change much afterall.

Middle finger pointed at the big cheena poster as usual, and did i mention there was a NEW pond outside the music room? There's seriously a lot of unnecessary stuff around...and most of the teachers are unhappy about it, but then, wad can we do? Suah, tristan fernandez, edwin heng, alice long were still their usual self...

Make a surprise trip to the national stadium with jy to watch the s'pore vs australia match yesterday. Was intending to watch at home cos of the SLIGHTLY ex tic prices, but then, my bro kop some free complimentary tics from general office during homecoming day. Not a total full house but we did catch some action. Some yalam shouted "Let the lion eat the kangaroo!" very funny arh...then there was this dancing kid ard 8-9 yrs old coming out from the fans to dance on the pavement with the music, damn zai lah seriously. Then everyone was taking photos and impressed by him. The australian fans were quite friendly as well, a total contrast to the last few times i came here with hostile away fans...They even did the kallang wave with us and there was no division of home and away fans.

Although we lost 3-0, i tink both teams were quite evenly matched. The main difference was that australia made their chances count, but we were let down by poor finishing, most notable by indra sahdan, and their build and physique were much stronger than us, you can see the clear difference in size even from so far. Oh ya, and we saw this teenager Hariz Harun playing for the national team. Guess how old is he? 16 years! A St Gabriel sec 5 kid playing for the national team, seriously very very very zai.

Happy Youth Day everyone:)
