Bought Jay Chou's new album, Still Fantasy, about a week ago, and it was really worth it. Looks like i'm gonna be crazy about this album for a really long time. Not a bad album in my opinion, or rather, one of his best ever. The album design and layout was totally cool and outstanding!

Jay's quality was shown in his songs. And the 1-2 punch with lyricist partner 方文山 was the perfect combination. In fact, i've been also looking forward to 方文山's lyrics in the songs. The way he uses words and make them flow is simply magical!

Another point is that Jay's rapping skills has hit new heights too. All kinds of crappy rapping skills can be seen in his songs. Of course, there are still sweet ballads like 退后 and 心雨 which are really very touching. And the opening dialogue in 红模仿 is crappy and funny too. The last 2 songs 迷迭香 and 菊花台 were not his usual style...sounds more like some old songs instead...

Still, its a great album to listen to! Jay Chou Rox :)

The mugging season has already started and is heating up...It's quite scary to see people mugging everywhere...Promos in 11 days time, hope i'll not be retained...Operation Chiong Part 2!

Finally back home after experiencing one of the greatest moments of my life!

Went to national stadium just now to watch the Singapore VS China match with jy. It's been long since i came here. Came here twice last year to watch the Tiger Cup final with Indonesia and also a friendly match with Malaysia. Somehow, this match against China will be the biggest i've ever watched. Its been a year since i came here.

Met up with jy at j8 to have dinner first, and we saw ambrose, minghui n andy mugging at macs. Renjie was also there wif his IJ friends. Quite scary lah, almost everyone in macs is mugging...looks like the mugging festival is here! Think i've succumbed to the peer pressure too...

Started the journey to Kallang soon after and felt surprised that so many ppl had come to watch the match. Upon a closer look, found to my horror that there were many China fans, more than expected...sigh...so many chinese working here...The atmosphere was totally electrifying, intimidating, and also scary, like something is going to happen soon.

Found myself suddenly surrounded by damn lots of chinese fans, dunno wad to do really...although we are at home, i felt like being an away fan more...There were chinese fans almost everywhere, and suddenly i felt more comfortable with the yalams instead...i guess about 1/2 the ppl there were rooting for china...sigh...This is SUPPOSED to be our HOME match...

Meanwhile, me and jy were making some sarcastic remarks. Th0se communists can go home to mug their little red book and worship lao Mao instead. Quite happy with the cocky and disrespectful remarks that the chinese reporters and coach made in the buildup to the match. Then the banners that they put up were so communist...The national athemn was damn communist too...Drawing boos from all of us...We showed them how to sing the national athemn the right way!

Found a cool position to seat with jy behind some crazy yalams and in front of 2 funny ang mohs. The yalams were literally shouting throughout the whole match, tempting me to do the same as them...and i did. The ang mohs were clearly supporting singapore but the way they talk and analyse the match was damn funny...Ppl around us were also laughing at the comments we made. Then there was this chinese guy waving a china flag in the s'pore crowd, asking for trouble?

Why are we wearing the blue away kit when we are the home team? A lot of things happened. 1 china guy was escorted by the police to his seat after doing some foolish acts apparently...and the area between the away fans and us were like a 'war zone'...

During half-time right, i dunno what's the problem with the chinese fag. They got off from their 'away fans' area and decided to walked around our area instead. This is clearly an act of intimidation. When they reached our area, everyone around us stood up and gave unfriendly stares and looks at them. But they looked cocky and hao lian to me. 1 yalam in front of me was pointing a middle-finger and shout 'fuck u cheebai' constantly (sry for the language...haha) But the chinese did not really care. 1 of the fags even pointed at that yalam, gave a provoking look and gestured something like 'u come out here'? Nearly a fight broke up, the china fags were clearly asking for trouble, but it was quite drama...Then 1 china fag, middle-aged man, was telling the yalam "冷静,冷静!”。。。

Also saw this china fag talking to his friend, say something like, "什么是 fuck u cheebai,为什么他们一直说?” Damn funny lah. But quite true also. They don't really understand many of the things we shouted...Sometimes, it felt better sitting with yalams instead, feel more 'home'...Like i've said, or did i? The off-field antics were more exciting and entertaining than the match itself.

So much for all these crap, now back to the match itself...Quite a stalemate in the first-half. But we didn't attack much. Most of the time was spent defending. Lionel Lewis was clearly the man-of-the match in my eyes, making some fantastics saves and keeping a great clean sheet. We weren't confident enough to attack and we usually put a lot of men behind the ball. It was during the last 10 minutes then i saw a forward in front for counter attacking purposes while the others were held deep.

Overall, the defence was brilliant and worked really hard throughout the match. Subramani was a rock. China attacked us like crazy in the 2nd half but we managed to survive the on slaughaut and keep them at bay, maintaining the goal-less scoreline till the end. Referee sux and he made a lot of mistakes and dubious decisions. Shao jiayi got himself sent off in the dying moments of the match. Didn't saw what he did but juz saw a singapore player lying in the ground. To round it up, we did have some great chances but jus didn't put them in. Shahril Ishak has great ball-control skills and superb first touches but he didn't dare to shoot from outside the box. We did have a goal disallowed in the 1st half by Khairul Amri which i thought should have been counted...

The chinese were clearly at a physical advantage, they were taller and stronger than us. Winger Itmi Dickson had an off-night which he will want to forget. To sum it all, he didn't make a decent run and his first touch often let him down. And we can't play long balls against a China side with many players taller than us, it almost impossbile to compete with them for headers. But i think a lack of confidence in our attack costs us a win. We had some nice chances late in the 2nd half but were made a mess of...And the cool and composure and calmness was only seen in the defence.

And it was wrong to take Ahmad Latiff and Noh Alam Shah off, cos i think they are those combative and aggressive players who are really determined to strive for a win. Itimi should be down earlier becos of his poor form. It just wasn't his day. For the defence, if ever there was a weak link, it had to be Daniel Bennett. He looked unsteady and often lacked composure in defending, making stray and inaccurate passes up front. This resulted in the chinese often exploiting our left wing area becos of the space. Strikers Alam Shah, Khairul Amri and Fazrul Nawaz showed glimpses of their potential but they were devoid of good service from midfield. I think too many long balls were being played. We should play the ball on the ground more often instead and utilise the pace, speed and trickery of players like Itimi Dickson and Khairul Amri most often.

Maybe its a good result against a China team that were in the world cup 4 years ago. But i feel like the situation doesn't look good for us in the route to qualifying for the Asian Cup next year. We have to win our remaining 2 matches against Iraq and Palestine to qualify...

When we went out of the stadium, i heard this uncle in a Lions jersey saying "China can go home lah, wanna win us next lifetime ba!" drawing stares n asking for trouble as well

The communists can really go home this time round. For all the chances they created, they should really have scored, but fell to our resilient defence.

Roar Lions Roar!

Teacher's day is finally here! A time to meet up with my former teachers and also to catch up with my buddies! Having been waiting for a long time for this day to come...Left HC at around 830pm with wen tao to go back chs. QQ and zw have some technical duty so they could not join us.

Anyway, i guess we were the first ones to reach chs lah. Saw my senior kwang han with his bunch of pals later. It was drizzling then. We finally reached the hall and saw the teacher's day concert. Funny to see how some of the teachers wore the chs uniform...And even saw a mug with mr suah's face on it...

As time passed, many people came back and seeing so many familiar faces, it really feel that i'm back home again! This is just the place for me. The influx of tons of Aj ppl almost made me feel that i'm in the wrong school...haha. This nostalgia has overwhelmed me...All the teachers who have teached me...i really dunno what to say...And i even spotted the painting that our class did on last youth day with our class logo and everyone signing around it.

Also a day where we can meet up with all our former batchmates and juniors. I really miss the days, the lessons here, the uniform, the moments when we go crazy together and so on...it seems like time has reversed...Went to matthew's house with some other classmates to slack and play. This time, we played 'risk' again. The last time i played 'risk' was also at his hse...and bridge n Big 2 was the usual games as well. We went down to play bball but it rained soon after and we are even stuck in the shelter trying to wait for the rain to stop. But it didn't and we went back to matthew's house.

Went to marina bay with the others afterwards for steamboat dinner. Met up with aloy, kiatsheng and some other people. We spend our time mocking and making fun of kangli as usual, playing with the food more instead of eating them. guohui was experimenting with the prawns like a biologist, dissecting them, splitting them, torturing them. Even put the head into the boiling soup and take it out for a few times...We were sadistic at times....

Talk a lot about gals, haha...went to playt lan near peninsula plaza later and daniel was quite funny lah. He was exploring the whole dota map?? never really played dota often these days. I guessed i only had less than 5 games this term, and i only know there's a 6.36 and 2 new heroes ytd...

Quite happy ytd...When will be the next time that all of us can meet up again? Nevertheless, i treasure the times we had together:)
