OFF TO TAIWAN:)

MIA TILL 15 DEC!

Hope I can have lots of FUN there:)

Went to prata house at thomson road to have dinner with the usual 6j gang, sherman, bryan, kinwai and yeo. A lot of yalams...but the food not bad lah. Saw a group of damn noisy sngs gals...Later we went thomson plaza, the first time i was here in the last 5 years, didn't change much though...After that, walk to some ulu ice cream shop, recommended by yeo. The ice cream is okay lah, i luv the super lime flavour, but the taste of durian for durian flavour was quite thick, almost felt like eating real durian...And we spotted the same group of sngs gals that we saw at prata hse. This time, they were noiser...like the place is their home...lol, no offence here arh...

Yesterday was quite an imba day. Suddenly got very crazy over cycling recently, so went to East Coast to cycle with ashhao. We decided to cycle from East Coast to Changi Village, sounds hardcore but its quite fun! A test of stamina and courage. We cycled along the whole stretch of Changi Airport, including the runway. There was a long stretch of road where there were no pavement, no cycling trail, no nothing, so we have no choice but to cycle on the road...

Estimated time taken : 1 h 25 mins

Not bad lah, didn't really took much rest along the way. It was much faster when we came back. Luckily for us, it didn't rained, or else, its GG! Looks like East Coast to Changi Village isn't really hardcore at all, and East Coast seems quite small, when u have a bike:p But when we came back, i couldn't even stand properly, and my .... hurts. Legs felt damn weak, and tired also...Felt a great sense of achievement:)

Jus finished watching the latest 神雕侠侣 series, very good show:) This is the 片尾曲。

Cycling in the Rain...This is it!

Maybe we should really check the weather forcast before cycling next time...

But no matter wad, its still FUN!

Went to east coast with matt, gh, xings, daniel, kr and wilson to cycle yesterday. Arranged to meet at Bedok, but as usual, everyone was late. And kr was at amk playing pool when all of us reached!

Realised that the bike renting costs there weren't cheap...haiz, juz cycle lah. We decided to head in the direction of changi, and juz cycle all the way. There was once when i was to far in front, while the others were slacking behind and trying to trick me into going back by saying that they all fell down...I'M SURE LAH! Roughly got the feeling of cycling as time passes. We reached the runway of Changi Airport, but the weather doesn't look too good...But anyway, we still went furthur to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, which i never went before...

It started to drizzle soon after...and we decided to chiong back before the rain gets heavy...wrong choice. Should have stayed there until the rain stops. So, we chiong all the way back, and the rains gets heavier and heavier, u could feel the puddles of water splashing around, and we were all wet soon after. Never have i cycled in the rain before, so its a refreshing experience for me, hahaz! Another thing, the brakes don't really work well becos of lack of friction and slippery surface...Who cares lah, juz chiong!

By the time we reached the renting shop, ironially, the rain stopped too...wtf!! Wad's the meaning of this! We should have waited down there lah...Me and matthew were having a race towards our destination, but i dared not cycle too fast cos of the slippery floor...

Final Standings
1st: Matthew
2nd: ME:)
3rd: Daniel
4th: gh
5th: xings
6th: wil
7th: kr

After that, we were all bloody wet, so went to wash up. Didn't bring an extra shirt wif me...haiz, we all felt damn cold!! When we went to Macs to makan, it was freezing, and i was trembling all over...

Another ridiculous thing happened after that. Matthew brought his bball here, and we were finding a court to play. Then when we were walking in the Marine Parade area, saw a school. Gh say since its a sch, then muz hav bball court inside. Then someone say go in and play lah. For once, i thought they were joking, but we actually crash inside...Haiyah, got people ask say we old boys lah. Tao Nan school, top school leh, not bad not bad! No one caught us or question us. But the basket was too slow, play with this kind of basket sure deprove one...lol. So we juz played there without interference...this sch's security rox lah!

千年泪 Tank

Yea, finally got time to blog liao.

Chalet is so FUN!(oh is it?) Cool photos from chi soc chalet:)

The original chi soc! A crazy bunch of buddies!

Another grp photo!

Oops...my turn to hu liao!! We even have 2 majong tables!

Thank you Yuyin, intrude my privacy like that! A pic of Sleeping Beauty! Never really anticipated that. Only slept for 2 hours on the first day. Heard that Xinyu snores...lol, expected lah.

Aloha Changi is not a really great place to be...but i've found myself going to Changi Village for a total of 7 times during chalet, either by walking, bus or bike.

Majong and cards were dominant throughout the chalet. Indeed, we moved the majong set from hui suo to here, and yuyin even brought a smaller version one. But playing with the smaller version one was not nice at all, although its portable and convenient. There's something lacking while we played with it, the feeling and sense of excitement is jus not there. Anyway, don't know how many rounds i've played during chalet, but tink i've learnt more combinations and improved on my theory part of majong, esp with zhenyu giving his post-match analysis after every round...And there's yun zhou with he 17 games winless streak...

Funny thing is, cherlyn bought her homework there to do. Mugging in a chalet? Sounds fresh, first time i heard such stuff...scary sia. Anyway, xinyu bought her dvd player and some dvds...we even had a karaoke system set up! But this turned out for the worse, cos there were only a few cds to sing. In the end, they were spamming all the same songs...becoming more and more like noise pollution, i've enough of JJ Lin!!!

Watched Jackie Chan's Robbhood during the 1st night, and i only slept at 5am, and woke up soon after. I can really go through the whole chalet without sleep. Its jus that when the others are 'dead', u hav nothing to do, and sleep might be the best option.

The 2nd day was quite sian and uneventful, even if we want to play soccer, there were very little guys who knew how to play soccer in chi soc...不踢球,非君子! In the end, could only play 3-man passing, but spent most of our time retrieving the ball from deep bushes...

Spent more of my time camping and searching for food during bbq, hahaz. Cooking was not that great also, can fill up my stomach enough liao!

Went overnight biking with some friends. Dun really know where we're heading, just follow yihan, we shld reach somewhere? its been long since i last cycled and this is the furthest distance i've cycled! Thought that i've forgotten the art of cycling, but regained my technique, confidence, composure and feeling jus in time. We went around tampines area and make a loop back. Guess this is the most meaningful thing i've done during the chalet, other than cards and majong.

Came back and cycle to my class chalet soon after. Was told to give majong tutorials and consultation sessions while Ms yang gave the lectures. Come on, i only take H1 majong! Kinda reminds me of my 6J chalet last year, when ms ku bought her majong set there to teach us how to play, and its when i pick up the art of majong. History repeats itself...yet again...

Went to Dunman high to carry at least 100 pieces of wooden logs and planks back to sch on Thur. It was really crazy, and got a lot of wood dust all over me. Even carried the model of Dunman high back...

2 wks away to my taiwan trip! Looking forward? Maybe bah. But feel that i've a lot of things to settle here...Still, feel like i'm wasting the holidays, maybe i shld do something meaningful? But then, jus that i've said, holidays are meant to be wasted.

Yay! I can finally hear again! Yipee!

My right ear has been blocked for the last 2 wks, cos of too much ear wax (this is not a joke...)
Jus came back from washing at the clinic

It feels so GOOD to be able to hear again, life can finally be back to normal :)

Went to kbox wif guohui, xings and daniel last saturday, and we overshot by an hour!!! That's a new record for me. By right, we were supposed to sing from 11am-2pm, cos it was k lunch wad, but we didn't care abt the time and carry on singing, and when we were chased out, it was 3pm! A whole 4 hours inside kbox! Quite worth it, dun u think? Can see that daniel was a little pissed off as the first 2 hours were fully dominated by Jay Chou...hahaz! HardCore Jay fans!

Will be away to chi soc chalet from today onwards at Aloha Changi, that ulu place again...

Attended our maths tutor, ms huang's wedding with my class at some church in thomson just now. Its the first time that i've gone for such a ceremony! Only went for chinese-style weddings in the past. This is fresh for me. It was like a mass as expected, and her husband was some guy teaching in SJI. Singing of songs, prayers and blessings, all the usual ceremonial stuff.

Blissful marriage, ms huang!

PW's over! The Nightmare's OVER! Nothing to worry about anymore!
PW really sux man!
