GOLD! We did it, We got Gold for CLDDS! We are through to the FINALS!
We are the BEST!
It was quite a good performance from us, consider that we didn't really screw up. All those tiring rehearsals that we had all along, it has finally paid off. At least the sacrifice that i made is well worth it. Its true, if you want something bad enough, you will get it! We had confidence in ourselves all along, and brought out our best. There seems to be a sense of satisfaction.
When it was our turn, i didn't really think much. I didn't care about what other schools did. I just did what i was supposed to do, and remained focussed throughout the performance and into my role. I guess we were the special ones, and different from the rest. Passion is the word, I guess we really acted with passion and seemed to enjoy our performance too(although acting is not really my hobby), just like our band!
Last year, we shocked everyone by clinching the 2nd place, but losing out to RI eventually, but we will take revenge this year. The battle is not over yet, we are all fired up for the finals, and we promise to give everything we have! We can do it. We believed in ourselves.
