::Finally i remembered!

That i still have a blog

Alive and kicking in this world!

Seems that i've been too lazy these days

to log onto blogger and spam my feelings

but here i'm :)

This blog is not dead!

Firstly, congrats to those who jus commissioned yesterday

as true officers of the singapore armed forces

hope ur will always uphold the officer corps

n the pride n honour of the ur sword

We were not given a sword for nothing

I've been wondering,

especially during recent events

what it takes to be a good officer

apparently those things that they taught in OCS and ETI

didn't work out here

I wasn't prepared for all these!

Ever since cadets

we were deemed to be superhumans

things that u think its impossible

u always did it

its always like that

and u look back with laughs and smile

now the challenge is even greater

SUPERMAN i suppose

but dere shouldn't be anything that fazes the young officer

3 months on since that faithful day at SAFTI which i've waited for 9 months

i'm still learning how to be a good officer

no one says its gonna be easy

jus like what CPT Alex has told us

i still remember

just before we boarded the bus back to SAFTI for joint term

"The war's going to end

But another war has juz started..."

But let me tell u something

i'm not juz here to do my job

i'm going to make a difference

to touch people's lives

to make them learn

To all the new guys,

pls uphold the officers corp

dun forget wad u've learn during cadet days

keep the flame burning, or even brighter, when u attain the rank from the president

n most importantly,

dun let it die

I believe in myself

and my fellow batchmates

I won't disappoint myself

and the others around me

I dun commission for nothing

If u dunno how we commission

pls ask the president

I believe in officership
