Still can't believe its my bday ytd
Guess time really flies in the blink of an eye
Its my last year as teenager le
The prime years of my life are ending
And i'm getting older by day

Never really feel anything ytd
Cos i spend it doing platoon battle course
chionging here and dere
After the 12 day field camp
so shag until i nearly forget my bday
until some frens wake me up in the middle of the night
at the strike of 12am
to sms me happy bday...

It was really heartening last night
when i came back home at ard 11+
enjoy the last few mins of my bday
eating the red eggs my mum made for me
Somehow its the most tasteful red eggs ever

Guess its juz the simple things in life which i really appreciate now
which is one thing i learn frm ocs

I didn't die u know
I came back alive
to see myself as a 19 yr old
12 days in tekong nvr kill me or anything
Mayb i feel weaker now
but the mind is still there
i juz need to recover

If ever there was a bday wish
its none other that to commission as a true officer
Somehow this bday feels very different frm all the other 18 bdays
and yet most impt to me

Am i more mature now?

After all, i really dun wanna grow up
cos life changes a lot once u do
y can't we juz stay as carefree teenagers forever
but then, its juz part of life
Been thru a lot for the past yr
esp wif a lvls n army looming

how much hav i changed?
is it for the better or worse?

Wad i've been thru in the last 12 days may juz change my life forever
u may feel very shag
but sometimes ur mind tend to wander off
