As the festive season knocks on the door, it really sets me thinking, what is my xmas going to be like this year? But first, let me wish everyone of you out there a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS! A moment to be joyous, a moment that's worth celebrating for. Well, i don't usually have the habit of celebrating xmas anyway, but its been different this year. As such, me, xings, gh, ks, dog and wil went to orchard to feel the xmas atmosphere and to join in the party. But i must say, curse of the kim guay( Golden Flower) is a disappointing movie, and Jay Chou was very unnatural in his acting, but the plot wasn't well-written anyway, and i wouldn't recommend it for anyone...
This year's orchard is a little disappointing, in terms of the decorations, designs and lightings ( no high expectations becos i'm lightings leader...) and the xmas atmosphere is not as exciting...Anyway, we spent a lot of time loitering around, thinking of which place to go for dinner. Since its xmas, no fast food, no hawker centre pls...guess i've been saving up for good food:) Soon after, we decided to head for Plaza Sing, and once we went there, a lot of restaurants were filled up, with ppl waiting outside. In the end, Swensens was our choice...AnQing called me when we were queueing up and i realise her pri sch mates were at Thai Xpress, which was juz beside us. Knew quite a few of her pri sch mate, like Kah Hwee, Jion, Zhengyou...Its really a small world!
平安夜,来了又去, as they call it in chinese. But whenever xmas comes, i'll be reminded of the start of the new sch term, which is not far away...It causes me to reflect, what have i been doing this holidays? And the answer is clear, nothing much. Holidays are for us to rest, but maybe i've been slacking too much. Not touched my holiday homework at all, never revised my work or anything...and 1 wk is all that i left. But the sense of urgency is not there...I had planned to chiong all the way after huangcheng, which is in March, but as can be seen many times this year, i don't usually go to my plan anyway...
Well, i still miss the moments in taiwan, when there's absolutely nothing to worry about, i can just enjoy myself...Once i get back, the first thing that bothers me will be chi soc stuff, like drama camp and preparation for huang cheng next year. Suddenly i feel that it'll be a major test for me next year, managing time and committments. Anything that goes wrong will result in my life in a great mess, and its no joke. I got this feeling a lot of times this year, but if it really happens, i've got to be patient and handle it well. To be frank, i'll really afraid if i'm unable to fulfill my responsibility in chi soc. It will be a gruelling process, i'm sure of that.
Maybe i don't really know what i want these days, just taking things as they come and go...It will be hectic, different, impt next year. And i also have to handle my social life well...But matter what, always looks on the bright side of life, and live it to the fullest i will :)
( DeathNote 2 will be the next movie to anticipate :P)
