::3 movies in less than a week, what is this? Suddenly found myself damn broke...

The first movie was The Prestige, and i think it was the best movie out of all 3. Watched it last Wednesday when we treated isaac to a free movie becos its his birthday. Suspense and Excitement throughout. All those magic trick were really captivating, and it can be quite difficult to understand the plot, especially the climax when Angier tried to make himself disappear and appear again using the machine. I love Alfred Borden better becos of his personality and his plight, and also his rivalry with Angier. All those twists and turns are really fun, but i dun get the last part, when Angier actually clone himself, and that he died a 100 times, once every time when he performed.

"Great magic tricks are composed of three acts: The Pledge, where the magician shows the audience something that appears ordinary, but is probably not; The Turn, where the magician makes the ordinary act extraordinary; and The Prestige, where there are "twists and turns, where lives hang in the balance, and you see something shocking you've never seen before."

Next was DOA on last saturday with guohui and xings. We wanted to watch Deathnote but there was no such show at Jubilee, what the hell?? WEAK cinema! Anyway, the movie sux big time! Firstly, its very short, like 80 mins only. Next, the actors not really chio as we expected, except Christie, and then the plot....is there even a plot at all? Or should i say its lame. Seems that all video-game-adapted movies are bound to fail...The story's about a group of fighters being invited for a DOA tournament on an island. But there was not eventual winner as they only stopped at the semis. There was an attempt to add more depth to the show but quite unsuccessful. The whole show really looked like a video game..

The last one was DeathNote, finally. Watched it just now with the chinese soc lads. Show was not bad, the god of death was quite cute, and the fight between Kira and L was cool. The only bad thing was that there was no ending, but instead, we saw a DeathNote 2 trailer, which only arouses us...I want to watch DeathNote 2!!! Then after the movie, we were talking about a LoveNote...thnx yuyin, kiamian they all for arranging the seating arrangement for us and bringing the rumoured couples together...where has democracy went? This is not funny at all lah...

Guess wad? We walked all the way from hc to orchard!! Okay lar, not really very far also...

Holidays have started, so wad? Holidays are meant to be wasted...::

::Juz came back from jy's hse...went there to watch the Man Utd-Liverpool match...Yea, won 2-0 but the match was quite boring...Tink we can continue to push Chelsea all the way, while Liverpool are virtually out of the title race. They didn't even threaten the Van der Sar lah, and Peter Crouch was damn funny...tackling Van de Sar to get the ball...Rio Ferdinand's shocking goal showed good technique and first touch, maybe he can be a striker...

Saw Daniel Benett and Itimi Dickson coming out of the bus when i reached jy's hse, believe it or not! Think they are watching the match also...hahaz. Went gym earlier in the evening and saw the Home United players training at Bishan Stadium, lol. What a chance man!

Yesterday was the unofficial 4-11 gathering when we went to matthew's hse in the morning to play bball. The ball hit my 3rd finger and as a result, i couldn't shoot properly. Had an off-day, and didn't play well. Then we were teasing KangLi all the way and dun wan to let him zao for his pw, lol. Later went up to matthew's hse where his mum treat us to lunch and drinks. Deepavali, xings festival!! Hahaz...Saw my former colleague, the ham auntie at the ntuc near matthew's hse. Guess i won't be working again this holidays, damn busy lor...

After that, we decided to go to amk for kpool or kbox, but matthew suddenly came up with a weird idea of going to jurong east...I thought it was a joke but in the end, we missed amk on tht train and had to go jurong...sian...long ride man...Was quite enthu abt kbox, but it suddenly came to us that today was a public holiday, and it was 21 bucks per pax!!! WTF? forget it, no $$ liaoz.

In the end, went to play kpool, but it was really not my day. No luck at all, and had a lot of noob shots...So decided to chiong lan instead, in a bid to change my forturnes. Quite funny lah, esp Daniel, keep on exploring the map...and said things like 'xingzhi come and get me', diaozzz...Used broodmother for 2 games, a little sian liao...Later ate at KFC, when matthew teach us some scamming tactics. Instead of asking for cheese fries, ask for a pack of fries and a cup of 50-cent cheese. Cheaper and the cup of cheese is a lot lah. We keeping on spamming cheese on fries....

Went to NJ on friday wif WenTao, it was quite random actually. Saw him at fishtank after maths lecture, and he said let's go nj play bball. So set and we zao liao, ponning Econs promos review. He's damn zai lah, got 1 whole week of MC. Reason? Breathing difficulties becos of the haze...

Well, the first thing i went NJ is to sms sherman to bring a ball now. Saw Stan, GuoHui, Matthew, Gab, Dog, ks, yida....and we had an RV vs CHS bball match. Quite comical as we were playing comedy bball. We were quite slack lah. Got a few times only yida chiong in front and we all stand behind in our own half to cheer for him and jiayou...Damn lame...After that, went to the canteen to eat wif Guohui and matthew. NJ food is so much better than HC lah. Played soccer after that, but i was hit right on my specs. Had to take it off and be a blind man for the rest of the match...

But its the ONLY thing that i'm proud of during this promos, guess i did even worst than my BTs...

Final Score: EEECB, doesn't look nice at all, but at least i PASSED everything and failed none, the only consolation for me...

Here's a simple breakdown:

GP--C, juz got it back today, thought that i could do better after shocking myself with a B, but a C is what i expected esp when i sense that i didn't do well for both papers, and no time to finish AQ!! But the smoking skills for essay are not there...

CLL--B, well, this is something that i can be proud of. But no need to hao lian too much also, since most of the cohort got A or B. But i've improved by around 10 marks since BTs!! Something to cheer about! Yea. Its the only subject i'm happy with...Seems like my crapping skill is still one of my talents and best assets around :) Considering that i didn't really memorise a lot of stuff, and ended up writing a lot of crap...nothing much that i can ask for...

Maths--E, Last time maths was one of my best subjects and niche areas, but now...the grade speaks for itself...Maybe H2 maths is totally different from O lvl maths. Requires more thinking...Maybe i've lost my sensitivity and the 'feel good' feeling in maths, but it remains one of my favourite subjects!

Econs--E, Worst than my BTs, juz passed by 1 mark, but to be fair, the cohort did quite badly also, with only 4 As in the whole batch...case study and essay totally CMI and i rmb blacking out when i saw the essay qns...

Physics--E, Expected to be worst! LOL! Physics remains my most hated subject and i really made a huge mistake in my life taking it, wan to drop it lah, its a nightmare studying for it, and i really cannot find any motivation liaoz...And the paper is like not humans can do one...

Sigh....Sigh....that's the only thing i can do now, dunno if i can still keep my lep scholarship with this kind of results, but hope i can lah, hope only......

HuangCheng 2007 chionging full force liao! Attended BeeBee's lights lesson today, it was quite interesting, and realise how noob i'm at lights...sian, how to be the Lighting Designer for next year??

::MAF RoX! Back to ChildHooD DaYs :) A MeMoRaBle MoMenT to RememBer!

Juz came back home an hour ago...Well, ThiS is the FirsT TiMe i've ExPerienced MAF in HC before and i must say it is really a joyous and enjoyable occasion for everyone. For those who dunno wad's MAF, it stands for Mid-Autumn Festival (This is not lame or wad, it really stands for that...) Not only to celebrate 中秋节, but also for seniors and grand seniors and grand grand grand....seniors to come back and get together.

For me, i was part of the 中文学会 booth which sold lanterns and had a very lame game for the public. Those people were supposed to hit a shuttlecock into a funnel wif a racket and then throw soft toys through a metal hoop. If they succeeded, the toys they threw will be theirs. All these to be completed in one minute...sounds lame right? But we had a lot of fun lah, like aiming the head of the person holding the hoop ( like xinyu...oops) and playing badminton wif isaac...

But what was really impressive was the lighting up of everything in the central plaza, and the burning of the MAF signs. A very 'high' moment for everyone. Looks like MAF is really one of the importand not-to-be-missed occasions for HC! Such a huge crowd still remains after i've zao, and its not early either.

Sparklers, candles and lanterns...kinda reminds me of my childhood days when i always went to the nearby Bishan Park with my brother and neighbours during 中秋节 to play with all these stuff, not to include burning leaves, gathering twigs and try to make a campfire, or even attempting to burn ants or other insects...(sound a little 恶心) And it was quite anti-climax when the security guard chased us out...

Woosh~~!!! PSI 150. The haZe is back again! Oh my God! Quite serious i think, becos its looks very hazy everywhere. Its been long since i've witnessed such a scene and feels unnatural.

Maybe MOE can give us a holiday for health reasons?

::YEAAAAA~~!!! WOOOOO~~!!! SongBoh~~!!! Finnaallly its ALL OVER!

Freedom is here. No more mugging, no more overnight struggles. No more TYS, no more crap...Have been waiting for this day to come, and here it is! To those who are still having their promos : Continue to work hard man, and dun worry, cos it's gonna be over soon!

Its been quite an enduring 4 days. Suddenly, i dunno wad to do. Maybe i'll just take a really long nap, and have a really good rest. But the feeling is damn good. I can do anything i want now!

Went with bryan, sherman, kinwai, yeo to play pool yesterday, juz 1/2 an hour after i reached home. Then we chatted at AMK Macs for a very long time, i think more than 2 hours or so. Ya, talking about gals and all the usual stuff. Seems like everyone has their eye-candy liaoz. Sherman also made me very interested in cjs's 'dream gal'. Cjs was telling me about that gal everytime we met on msn lah, saying things like how he's going to jio her after promos and all those stuff. I'm really very interested to look at his taste, for someone like cjs.

Well, back to promos, it was as disastrous as the Block tests, would you believe it? GP was okay, but i felt i could have done better. Econs was quite screwed up, and my mind nearly went blank, so i juz crap out the relevant concepts i knew. Maths and physics, erm, don't mention it man. Its a miracle if i can pass them...paper was really difficult, and i realise no amount of TYS-chionging is enough for that. CLL was not bad, really. Well, that's what i think...Finally rediscovered my crapping skills and the feeling, damn song! Wrote until my hands are like 'fei' le. Can't even move my fingers and pick up a pen properly after the exam...

Now that its over, there's nothing more to worry about ( is it? hope i can be promoted lah...) As expected, a lot of crappy stuff coming up after the promos. Ponning sch will be a usual routine for me i guess. Post-promos timetable is crap, esp the tons of PW sessions. I'm seriously anti-PW. What's the point of it? Jus abolish this useless system! And so many OP rehearsals for what? Wan us to memorize other people's OP is it? Its like, we have a mouth, we can talk right?

People, time to enjoy yourselves to the fullest! Time to GeT CrAzY!!
