::GOLD! We did it, We got Gold for CLDDS! We are through to the FINALS!

We are the BEST!

It was quite a good performance from us, consider that we didn't really screw up. All those tiring rehearsals that we had all along, it has finally paid off. At least the sacrifice that i made is well worth it. Its true, if you want something bad enough, you will get it! We had confidence in ourselves all along, and brought out our best. There seems to be a sense of satisfaction.

When it was our turn, i didn't really think much. I didn't care about what other schools did. I just did what i was supposed to do, and remained focussed throughout the performance and into my role. I guess we were the special ones, and different from the rest. Passion is the word, I guess we really acted with passion and seemed to enjoy our performance too(although acting is not really my hobby), just like our band!

Last year, we shocked everyone by clinching the 2nd place, but losing out to RI eventually, but we will take revenge this year. The battle is not over yet, we are all fired up for the finals, and we promise to give everything we have! We can do it. We believed in ourselves.::

NAPFA 2005

The lads have been rehearsing very hard for our drama competition next Sat...even have CCA on Sunday!! The pressure is on us to perform well after achieving Gold With Honours from our Band and Choir. But we will have utmost confidence is ourselves! Like what Hak Boon said, there is nothing that we cannot achieve. We just have to believe in ourselves. We shocked everyone by cliching a 2nd last year, and we are confident that we can be even better this year, so lets give our very best for the school! Hope we can find the sense of satisfaction just like our band and choir! And just like Edwin Heng, the most important thing for us is to go out and enjoy ourselves. Have fun!

Next Sat will be our judgement day. We can make it, we are the BEST!::

Pure Manual Labour Work! We collected the old newspapers and clothes today for CIP. It was drizzling in the morning, but fortunately, we had a 'cat high' bus to bring us to our collection site, which was somewhere near RI. We were teamed with Sec 1-7, and had to take care of them well...

Reaching the collection site at around 9am, we aimed to finish loading everything on the truck by 10.30am. But to my surprise, we collected faster than we thought! Our group cleared our block in less than 10mins, hahaz, well...our block was those 4 storey ones lah. There was a time when Danny knocked on the door of a home which i have already asked, and the owner ask him to get lost...

After that, we went to help Kang Li they all at 103, which was like 20 something levels high. Our efficieny were so high that we helped them clear the block from 1-10 levels. We finished collecting everything before 10am, and waited a while for the truck to come. There was once when i knocked on the door, no one opened but instead a dog kept on barking and hitting the door...Many people were still sleeping. The whole thing ended at around 10.30am, wow, that was super-high efficiency!

Prelims are still counted lah...Who cares, i will put in the same effort for my prelims as the O Levels. The point is to get into a good JC during the 1st 3 months so that we do not have the hassle to change JCs later. But the 1st 3 months is just for pure enjoyment! Mr Lee gave everyone of us a DWIT book, which worked well last year. I want, I can, and I will get an A for English! DWIT::
