HaPpY TeAcHeRs' DaY!
Thanks to Mr Tristan Ivan Fernandez!
Its just so fun going out with my primary school friends! ROCKS!
Chiong back to catholic high primary straight away after celebrations today...go there empty handed...no presents...glad my teachers still remember me. Have a great chat with my teachers. Nice meeting my old buddies! Played basketball and soccer at pri sch with them, which consists mostly of RIs and Chinese Highs...Even played soccer with some pri sch kids...haha!Cool! We showed them some of our skills! Curled a Ball for my friend to volley into goal...The basketball court were so short, i can even dunk!
Went to Macdonalds' in Ang Mo Kio to eat after that, and Sherman came too. Went to friend's house to play table tennis. found that my skills were quite rusty, no time never played liao..In the end, we hit all the balls to his neighbour's house...And the Chinese High people kept singing some communist songs! Hail Mao Ze Dong! Mao Ze Dong wan sui! We all sang with them...Also talk a lot of racist jokes too...Played soccer there too, and always trying to break my friend's stylish dribbles...scored some goals too. Some of us went to Bryan's house afterwards to play badminton, found someone more pro than me...
Played so many sports, muscles aching all over my body. Reached home at around 6.30pm today, quite tired...

Nanyang Arts Theatre is just so cool!
It was a great performance, i tink our performance yesterday was quite good, as compared to the one on friday. Have to miss the St John's flag day because of this...Reached school at around 1.30pm, where we take a bus to Nanyang Arts...MP from Ang Mo Kio came and watch, and got the chance to shake hands with him! But found many empty seats...Took the lorry carrying our big mask back to school, it was a hot and stuffy experience, my whole shirt was all wet...Generally, it was a great experience for me!
The Exams are coming nearer and near...Have O Level Chinese Prelim and Physics Mock on Friday. Must learn from ZhongWei...OPERATION CHIONG! Final Year exams are starting on the 30th of Sep, which is 1 month from now...Study, Study, Study...
Next week will be quite short, as there is a teacher's day, which means time to study...Happy Teacher's Day to all teachers! Will be going back to cat high primary too, also looking forward to meeting my old buddies!
Tristan is finally back tomorrow from reservice! We all missed him a lot...
Olympics Closing Ceremony tml morning, dun feel like watching...
Tomorrow is the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. According to tradition, it is the day when the ghosts are most ACTIVE during the month...

Performed at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts just now, we are having another performance there tomorrow too...
The performance today was quite ok, but i feel that we have not given 100% to our performance, there is something we can improve on, hope we can be at our best tomorrow! We are the first group to perform. We pon lessons after 1pm, and everything was quite rush there. The seats are only like 3/4 filled, and almost all are students...liked my sargeant rank...haha...There was an exibition with exibits from the Arts Threatre. I was supposed to make sure that no one touches the exibits after the show, but there is NO ONE viewing the exibits...
We had a rehearsal there yesterday, which lasted until quite late. Lin Dan Wen told us to go there at 5pm, but when we reach there, we were told that it's going to start at 6pm...oh my...And that's not all, We also had to help to put up some of the exhibits from the Arts Threatre. It did not even start at 6. They were just busy adjusting the lights and speakers...and there seemed to be a lot of technical problems...And we had to find ways to entertain ourselves...like exploring the whole Threatre, which was quite fun...It was like 8.30pm when the official rehearsal was about to start. And we were wondering when this is going to end...As we are the first group to perform, we zao after our part, and i chiong 851 home. It was like 10.30 when i reached home. Damn sian and tired....Still feeling the tiredness and yawning at school today...
The whole school was like laughing when we performed during assembly on wednesday...
Busy period coming up and final year exams getting nearer...

Arghhhhhhhh......
So Near Yet So Far......
Hopes of an Olympic medal for 44 years totally vanished...Disappointments
JiaWei lost to her South Korean opponent 4-1 just now, and miss out on a historic medal for Singapore. She won the 1st set 11-8, which seemed a good start, but lost 4 straight sets afterwards. The South Korean had a very unique defensive style of play...I must say that i have never ever seen such a strange player in my life!
So JiaWei lost to the North, and then to the South of Korea...I think that overall, this is a psychological match. The South Korean try to frustrate JiaWei with her defensive play, and JiaWei has lost the mental game today. She needs to be more patient, if she can keep the patience, she will have a good chance of winning. She is not prepared for her opponents defensive style, and had no answer on how to break this defence. Most of her smacks were countered by her opponent. However, she did try to anticipate her opponents style, and try to go defensive...Then she shocked her opponent by giving some strong sudden smacks, which were quite beautiful. Because of frustration, she miss many important smacks.
She is totally frustrated by her opponent...it was a really good mental tatic...
Pressure is really a cursed word, if only such a thing don't exist...
But JiaWei will always be a winner in our hearts...
Thank You JiaWei, Thank You Susilo...
Beijing 2008, HerE We CoMe!
*World No. 1, Zhang Yi Ning of China thrashed the North Korean 4-0 and won the gold medal just now!

It has been raining heavily in the afternoon today. While we were having Chinese lesson at the last period, the sky immediately darkened, and suddenly, a strong wind was blown across the class. Everything was getting blown away...The 7th lunar month...haha...Luckily got a lift from aloy's pap home...
We will be performing at Nanyang Arts next week, the Mian Ju show, which got us a 2nd in the chinese drama competition. Also had to perform during assembly in front of the school next wednesday. Still remember the fact that we lost that competition to RI, the champs...It was a problem of pride...Acted as a mian ju ren last time, wearing the black coat...The 6 mian ju ren are very important to this show. This time, my role is changed to a policeman...hope i can act well in this new role...Hope we can bring out the stuff we got that got us 2nd!
Still have to go to school tomorrow for pai lian...we will bring out our best next week! :)
The Quest for an Olympic Medal...Li JiaWei brings hope to Singapore, after winning World Champion Wang Nan 4-1, and advancing to the Semi Finals! Boyfriend Susilo fall at the hands of pressure and luck, after crashing out at the quarter finals...We pinned all our hopes on JiaWei now. Can she finally bring back a medal after 44 years? Let's support her with everything we have got!

Yeah, can play soccer again during PE after waiting for 2 weeks! Its a case of 3-11 fighting against ourselves today, and quite an entertaining and high-scoring match. Our opponents scored 2 fast goals against us using great counter attacks, and went 2-0 up. The 2nd goal was particularly nice, as Ming Hui dribbled pass a few players and scored with a nice shot. Perfect Finish! After that, we grabbed a goal back, but they quickly hit us back with another goal, dashin our hopes...The score's 3-1 now, to our disadvantage. i just keep on trying, never giving up :D
We grabbed another goal back, when i provided an assist to Stanley, who instantly scored with a shot. Let's score another one to draw the match! But after some time, our opponents scored again, it seems quite difficult for us to catch up. But it's worth trying.
I finally scored with a superb tap in to an open goal, from a rebound from Stan's shot. The defence is totally confused! It was my 2nd goal in 4 matches, and it was quite lucky....hahaz! In the last few moments of our match, we poured everything forward, and tried as hard as we can, but lost it in the end...final score was 4-3, it was our first loss in 4 matches...but certainly quite an exciting one :)
I was quite happy with my performance, but feel that i had miss a lot of chances, really. I can't believe my eyes at the easy chances that i missed. Looks like i really have to train up on my finishing! Stan and Amber have been making those nice dribbling, and they have really gave me a lot of encouragement, and helped me a lot! It was really tiring running up and down the field...i will have to improve on my ball control skills, and the technique of handling the ball in the air :P
I still dunnoe where is my best position...
Ronald Susilo is the HoPe for Singapore, after winning the German guy 15-11, 15-6 to advance into the last 8 of badmionton in the Athens Olympics. He certainly have a good chance of getting a medal for Singapore!! Susilo Rocks to the core!
YIDA ROCKS!

Sigh...Mr Fernandez will be away for reservice for the next 2 weeks...we will really miss him a lot. Hope he can come back as soon as possible :)
And the English Premiership has started, after a long wait...crunch match today is Man Utd vs Chelsea...Worried about The Red Devils as they are still strugging with their injury problems and suspensions. Hope Fergie can come up with some good tatics to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge...Many people are thinking that Chelsea had a good chance of winning this one, with their squad strengthened in all areas, but i still believe that the Red Devils still have the will to fight and bring out their best, especially players like Roy Keane and new signing Alan Smith, who had particularly strong characters and determination, who demand the best from themselves. We will defy the odds and win this!
The Hungry Ghosts festival starts tomorrow, as the 7th month of the lunar calender approaches, as usual, have to burn something......nothing to be afraid of actually......
Have Fun at

Today is the Friday the 13th...but not an unlucky day for me though...got back my eng compo test, and found that i finally passed by 2 precious marks, 17/30! A glimmer of hope for me to pass my English...there's always HoPe!
Also got back my last E maths and A Maths test, and found out that i was really very careless, and lose a lot of precious marks due to my carelessness, even forgot to put units...and also quite happy with my chinese test results...
Finished the common test week with chemistry and geography test today...not very difficult though...but had this feeling that my overall results have slipped from last term...
Lee Hsien Long, a former Catholic High student, is now the new Prime Minister of Singapore. He even 'invented' a new minister position in the Cabinet foe his father, call what Minister Mentor. Lee Kuan Yew must be the only guy in the world to hold such a position...Wonder what Mr Goh Chok Tong was thinking when he was appointed the Senior Minister...Lee Hsien Long was always under him, but now, he is under Lee Hsien Long instead...Let's hope that the new PM will bring Singapore to greater heights!
"Join me to write the next chapter of the Singapore story! Work with me to make Singapore a home we love, a community we belong to and to a country we are proud to call our own."
This is indeed a new chapter of the Singapore story!

Today is the cel
ebration for National Day! We were siting like so far away from the grandstand. Didn't listen to the National Day Message clearly, as everyone was very noisy...Watched the Marchpast, and it was quite good, a little disappointed with the scouts marching...After that, had to watch some Inter-House Games like soccer. Then, we gathered together for some prize presentation, and giving out the service and colours awards.
YEAH! Let's Cheer for our Softball Team! WE have won the Softball Finals at Turf City yesterday with a 10-8 win over ACS(I), making a great comeback after trailing 6-0. Just when ACS(I) thought they were winning this match, we shocked them with a comeback, all thanks to our determination and cheering on of our supporters. And Hak Boon even had a new softball jersey with the name DWIT---Do Whatever It Takes!
After that, went to J8 with Dacks, BOO, and Thong to buy
Jay Chou's Qi Li Xiang. It was so early that the shop was still not opened yet. When the shop opened, we just chiong inside and everyone grabbed 1 album except Thong. This new album is quite good, and he's rapping skills really improved a lot!
Next week is like another common test week, with 6 tests in just 3 days...Looks like i will have to chiong all the way liao!

Yes, played soccer today during PE again, and the best thing was that i scored a nice goal, it was quite a nice shot that went pass the keeper, but i think i could have done better with the shot and the turn before that...It was the 3rd goal for our team, and we won the other team 4-2 in the end. Both teams are from 3-11 one lah...and found that Xing Zhi was a very good keeper! The pitch was very muddy and slippery, with very ittle friction...and we didn't play very well. We were all muddy when the match was finished.
Hey, Jay Chou's new album qi li xiang coming out today!

Esplanade concert really Rocks to the Core!
Given a role as a stage helper...
Reached school at around 7.30 am, and had to carry tons of program booklets...Boarded the bus at around 8pm and reached the esplanade at 8.45, where we had to go through some security checks. i was given a pass which says that i'm a student leader...The backstage was damn big, and so many rooms...Our room was beside the pri sch string assemble, and it was...a little noisy...
Rehearsal starts at 10am, and there were some delays in between. We had lunch at about 12pm at the artist's lounge. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the performance to start...
We standby at our positions at around 1.30pm, when the audience starts to come in. Lin Dan Wen gave me some sort of "explosives"....u noe that kind of party stuff...and i was supposed to fire them at the end of the finale item.
Our Guest of Honour, Chan Soo Sen arrived early at 1.45, quite punctual...and the concert starts at 2pm. The 2 MCs, Wei Han and HeBo looked very good in their suits. i also had to help the CO carry their yangqin...At the finale item, we sang 'Friends', and everyone in the backsatge when up on stage. After the finale, i fired "it" into the audience! Then everyone rose to sing the sch song...
Great Performance guys, can see that everyone really enjoyed our performance! Gong Jiao, Oei! Gong Jiao, Oei! Gong Jiao, Eba!
