We just had the full-dress rehearsal today. Miss the last 2 lessons due to this, which geog and chinese. Hope that it will be a real success on sunday! We have sold all the tickets, and it will be a full house on sunday!

Just taken back my English Compre Test Today, 22/50...failed...again. depressed...discouraged...not feeling good at all...I slammed my script on the floor when i received it...Why? Why must i fail english again? I'm at a loss. I really don't know what i should do to pass my English...I've tried almost every way to improve my english, i've tried so hard, so why can't i just pass? Do i deserve to fail? Do i suck? i failed english by half a mark last term, and this half mark is just so important. it pulled down my results, and class position. English is the only subject that has been giving me problems, and its the most important subject...I really want to pass...
Tomorrow, we will have another compre test...another chance for me?...maybe. I am not going to give up...

Played soccer during PE lesson today. This time, its 3-11 VS 3-4. 3-4 was not our match and we
thrashed them 3-0 in the end, although they have more players than us...A simply sensational win! Nicholas put in a great performance with 2 goals, one of which was a rebounder off a penaly which he missed. The third one was an own goal. It was really a one sided match in favour of us. i contributed to the team by putting in some key tackles and passes during the match, and also denying the wingers any chances. Even denied some 1 on 1 chances with great and nice tackles...Still dunnoe wad's my best position...

Chinese teacher gone to China this week, and found a very old relief teacher to teach us. She was damn boring lor...feel very sian, and there are still 2 chinese lessons today...missed the sarcastic jokes by my chinese teacher...
COPA America 2004 Champion: BRAZIL
Brazil became the newly-crowned champions of the COPA America 2004 this morning, after winning Argentina 4-2 on penalties, after drawing 2-2 in full time. Woke up at 4am today to watch the match, which ended at around 6.30am...It was surely a highly-entertaining match, featuring 2 of the best teams on the planet. These 2 teams can certainly produced one of the best attacking football in the world. Argentina and Brazil are 2 of the world's worst rivalry football nations for a long time! Totally enjoyed the free-flowing attacking football and great spirit between these 2 teams. The players have certainly showed their hunger and desire to win this Final!
Inter Milan's Kily Gonzalez gave Argentina an early lead with a penalty. Brazil looked shaky in the first half, but they eventually find their feet and found an equaliser in the closing period of the first half, through a lucky header by Luizao, from a well-taken free kick by Alex. Argentina eventually regain their lead in the 87th minute and everyone thought that they are going to win this battle. But the Brazilians are not going to say die just yet. They did not showing any signs of giving up and persevere. Adriano became the hero of the final, when he found a goal in the 92nd minute, just 5 seconds before the match ended, and rescued Brazil. It was a beautiful turn and a fantastic shot! He certainly believed in himself and Brazil.
No Ronaldo, no Kaka, no Ronaldinho, no Roberto Carlos, and no first choice keeper Dida, but Brazil still win this tournament, even if they left out their superstars. Only Man Utd's Kleberson is the only player still left from their world cup 2002 squad.It is true to say that Brazil is the only country in this world that has the ability to win a major tournament even without their entire first-team players. Argentina have also left stars Veron, Crespo and Walter Samuel in Europe. Players like Saviola and Carlos Tevez have impressed.
Adriano is the top striker of the tournament with 7 goals of Brazil. He has proved himself to be the next Ronaldo. Alex is also one of the best players with 5 assists and 1 goal. Goalkeeper Julio Cesar have also impressed and save a couple of penalties. Young Diego also shows the potential to become a great player.

Finally got a chance to play a "
decent" soccer match during PE lesson today. We won the match in the end, which was settled by an
own goal by Jeremy. He put the ball into his own net while i was pressurising him, from behind. I even "
scored" a fluke goal, but it was after the final whistle, while we were scrambling for the ball...hahaz...I certainly had a lot of fun. Tall Zhong Wei didn't use his height well, and almost all the headers went to Sze Huan. Zhong Wei even missed an open goal from a cross by Stan...However, the real disappointment was Toon, who missed about 7 great chances to score...certainly and entertaining match.
Just knew that our class will be going to the Bishan Home to do communit service, on 5/8 and 12/8. The consent forms are divided into 2 groups, led by Tristan and Suah Yee Leng. People in the class who got the Suah Yee Leng group began stealing from those who got the Tristan group...and the class was in a total chaos! Some even tear up the consent forms...hahaz...
And the school even come up with what

Well, Eddie told us that our social studies test today was cancelled due to some
unforseen circumstances... and that ends our common test week...the tests are still not over yet though, have to chiong until final year exams, and o level chinese...hahaz

Well, Presented the Harbin trip during assembly at school hall today with jiong chun. Everyone was very engrossed in our video though...and renjie making all those sarcastic remarks in the video. This is really a very fruitful trip!
Just Taken my O Level Chinese Oral Today!
Lin Dan Wen told me that chinese oral today must be about crime stuff...dunnoe true or not...our class left the hall at about 1pm and went back to class while suah yee leng go through some oral stuff...told us that handphones maybe the topic for today. He also showed us all the topics for the last 8 days.
Went to the hall at about 2pm and tried to stay calm as everyone waits to take the oral...Today is the last day liaoz...and RI teachers are coming to examine us! I'm the 5th student to take the oral in my group, and i HATE waiting...It starts at 2.15, and the atmosphere was quite...Saw Nicholas taking out his bottle of chicken essence and drank everything...and boon kiat and yi he doing some last minute studying...while i just try to remain calm and take it easy...Finally its my turn! I just relax and went through the passage...after that, i waited for my turn. Realised that boon kiat took a lot time with the examiners, sure get high marks one lah...and heard zhongwei talking so loud, and also heard the questions...oops...and started thinking... Its my turn now. I just walked confidently up...and just talk! The question is about wad teenagers handphones got stolen...my teachers got it correct anyway! then, the examiners ask me about my living environmeny, and we began talking a lot about Bishan...happy to see the 2 examiners laughing as i made my exit out of the hall...hope i can do well in this oral!

Went to fel's birthday party yesterday...it was quite fun though...and fel's a good host too! And the food's NICE too! Had a lot of fun, reached her house like about 8pm. First thing i found was renjie, aloy and dennis playing fifa 2003 on playstation...and fel was asking us to go out...Then all of us went downstairs...dunnoe for wad, and came up again. And its finally time to cut the cake, and fel stands on the chair...and also trying to grab our attention...then anqing went to play the birthday song on the piano, and i dunnoe which side to look at...and renjie was spoiling the song too. After that, me, renjie, and aloy went to the balcony, close the doors, and have some private chat...and fel kept on asking us to go out again, and the cake was delicious!
After that, we went out to chat with fel's mum and talked about schools and religions...and ate some otahs too...After a while, went back into fel's house and played the so called indian poker with them. We were like mixing all the NICE stuff together into a cup, like milk, chilli, pepper, 7-up and other stuff, and some people had to drink it...And during my 2nd round, the cup was enlarged, to a really big one! Zao home after that...
Sianzzz...really not enough time to study for common test week, 6 tests in total...and still got o level chinese oral...a very CHALLENGING week for me, and still have the wits project on how to improve our school image, nevermind, just do the BEST that i can...

THE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE: GREECE. Would you Believe it?
Amazing, Sensational, Fantastic, Magnificient, how can we describe Greece? They created history by winning the host nations Portugal 1-0, and won Euro 2004! Angelos Charisteas head in the 57th minute was enough for Greece to win the final showdown. This is the first time that the opening match and the finals are featuring the same team, and Greece actually triumped over Portugal 2 times in 3 weeks.
The whole nation is shocked! How can they lose to a Greek team again? Have they not learnt their lesson on the opening day of this tournament? Scolari is one of the best coaches and tactians in the world today. Doesn't his team want revenge? Scolari has failed now. He has done really well, spurring on Portugal to the finals since the opening day defeat, but they still lost to the same team...He has won the World Cup with his native Brazil 2 years ago, and he's so close to winning the Euro with Portugal, which will make him the only coach in history to win the 2 major trophies.
So Near, Yet So Far, for Portugal. They have played better and better as the tournament progressed, beating Russia, Spain, England and Holland, and this is the first time they are in the finals of Euro 2004. Is this the end of the 'Golden Generation'? They still can't get a trophy at senior level. Rui Costa has announced that he will retired from international football after Euro 2004, Fernando Couto is also set to live. Figo seems like he still wants to stay in the team.
The Portuguese also played well in this game too. They just kept on attacking and shooting, but just can't break through the strong Greeck defence. Cristiano Ronaldo burst out in tears at the end of the match. So sad...It was a moment of anguish...Free Flowing Attaking Football still fail against defensive soccer.
Otto Rehhangel is truly a master tactician, the Greek god. Portugal, Spain, France, Czech Republic, this team have pulled off many upsets in this tournament. It is just what we call the Greek lengend. A superb display of organisation and discipline by Greece in the finals. One for all and all for one, the team has certainly bonded very well together, keeping out the attacking threat of Figo, Ronaldo and Deco, and played good defensive football. TEAMWORK is everything! People may criticise their dull football, but they still lift the Euro 2004 trophy with this kind of football. Before this tournament, Greece has never won a match in a major tournament before. The Portiguese attacked with everthing they had after Greece scored the winning goal, many great chances were missed, and goalkeeper Antonios Nikopolidis was in great form. He is the best goalkeeper of the tournament in my opinion. Traianos Dellas is one of the best players here, keeping out many world class strikers. Tight man-to-man marking is the key to Greek Success.
PITCH INVASION, that's what happened at the finals. In the dying moments of the game, a Portuguese fan invaded the pitch holding a Portuguese banner. The mad guy eventually threw the banner at Luis Figo. The policemen then chase him...he eventually threw himelf against the Greek goal, and was carried away by the policemen...which interuppted the match for 5 minutes....

Took my o level chinese listening compre in the morning today...it was quite okay...there were some questions which i'm not sure...Then i went to zhong wei's house to edit some Harbin videos with LDW(Lin Dan Wen), and he treated us to lunch too. We will be showing the imovie at assembly on wednesday, and there it will stir up a commotion among the students...

HAPPY YOUTH DAY!
This morning, woke up early again to watch Greece VS Czech Republic. Greece shocked again by winning the Czechs by a silver goal, and they are through to the final to meet Portugal. The ending match is the same as the opening match! Certainly not a final everyone expected. I think that the Greeks have the potential to create history again, and i will not be shocked if they win Euro 2004, although the Portuguese are the favourites now.
We watched Scary Movie 3 during Physics lesson today. It was damn funny and sarcastic though, and also quite violent! But we didn't finish the whole movie though, so sad...
Then, we have the long awaited Youth Day Concert. It was really explosive. Many of the teachers went up to stage to perform for us, and we saw the other side of them. There were songs, guitars, indian dances, and even tai ji quan, by the different teachers in our sch. It was really very fun, and we were cheering all along too. A really very fun youth day for us indeed!
Back to real business now, tomorrow is the O Level chinese listening Compre, well, nothing to study at all, juz dig my ears and make sure i can hear very clearly can liao, we even got some tips from caiyuren today...All the best to those who are taking!
