::hey, there was a total blackout around most parts of Singapore yesterday. I was like chionging Chemistry because of the Chemistry test today, then suddenly, everything juz became dark. And instantly at that moment, i heard a lot of screaming and all that. The whole place here is totally dark! This is the first time that Bishan has experienced a total blackout, but its quite a good experience for me. The we can only rely on the moonlight...Everyone started lighing candles and all that...After a while, the electricity is back, i tink we are the first area to get the electricity back!::

Czech Republic Won Denmark in Style wif a 3-0 win, thanks to a brace from Milan Baros. Baros has certainly improved, and taking his tally to 5 goals, leading scorer in Euro 2004 currently, with 4-goal Van Nistelrooy as his nearest challenger. The Czechs are real good, facing Greece in the semis in the battle of the dark horses. Nice game to me! ::

::June Holidays are just about to end. One day more before school reopens, had no choice but can only look forward to the new term ahead. I aim to at least PASS my english this term, i believe i can. A new term, new challenges ahead, slacked more than enough during the holidays, have to go back to business and be real serious now...Got Chemistry test on the first day of school on acids and oxidation...and got english oral on tuesday, And there will be O level chinese oral next month, with RI teachers as our examiners...i will have to chiong all the way up to the End-of-year exams and O level chinese, before i can really slack...again.

Holland won Sweden on penalties today morning, after drawing 0-0 after extra time. They will meet host nation Portuguese in th semis, while the Czechs will face Denmark tml morning. The Czechs are really becoming better in the tournament, obtaining maximum points in the so called Group of Death, featuring Holland and Germany, and they really have a lot of spirit, teamwork and quality on their side. If they will, they will face another surprise package, Greece, in the semis.::

::I had some mixed feelings about Homecoming Day today. It was quite fun overall for us, but the bad news is that, we made a LOSS! I really can't believe it. Poor Tristan had to pay for our loss.

I reached school at around 7.10am today, watching Greece VS France a few hours earlier. Greece shocked the whole world winning by a goal to nil, knocking oout the former European Champions. I think that Greece defended really well in this game, keeping out the French attacking power. The French were also quite unlucky in these game too. Anyway, its Sweden VS Holland tml morning, it will be entitled "The Big Shootout", with both teams great in attacking football. I think that Holland should be able to win this one, lead by Man Utd Striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy, and progress into the semis to meet the Portuguese, although we can never be sure that holland can go through by what we saw today...Anything is possible in football, and this Euro 2004 is surely an exciting one.

Anyway, it was like 7.50am when zheng cong came with the jelly and agar agar, and we started to set up the stall. Due to the large population of councillors and prefects in our class, not many people was able to help us out at the stall. In the end, i had to stay the whole day until we clear up the stall. We also sold hot dog buns and donuts. Business started quite ok at first, but as time passes, business became more bad...and we had to cut down on our prices...Zheng cong and aloysius like did not even help out at the stall at all...

Actually, not many people came today as expected, i think that we shld advertise the fun fair more. Then the afternoon shift like only a few people came, onli saw yi he, guo hui and kang li came. Even the slashing down of prices didn't help much. Then got time to go to the canteen to crap with the others...We clear up the stall at around 4pm, and aloy's mum bought a whole box of donuts, and some boxes of jellies...aloy and anqing even bought another box of donuts, giving it to mr fernandez...

::Happy Father's Day!

As we approached the last week of the June Holidays, i believe that most of us will say that this June Holidays is quite short. Already, my first week is booked for the trip to Harbin. Term 3 is going to start in 1 week's time and it will be back to school! Well, i will be looking forward to school reopen, the all-new challenges ahead of me. And it will be back to business as usual after so much slacking during this month...

Just knew that Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and coach Phil Jackson have left LA Lakers this summer. The Lakers really need to rebuild their whole squad, with new players. The Big 4 hasn't impressed a lot this season. Hopefully, we can see an all-new Lakers team when the new NBA season starts in October.

::Today woke up at about 10am in the morning, well, because i didn't slept at all at the chalet yesterday. Came back from the chalet yesterday, i must agree that it was very fun. Unfortunately, something happened to Pearly, hope she will get well soon! I didn't eat much during the BBQ, and was mostly standing there not helping...The chalet was a little small, and had only 2 beds. Some of us gathered at the room upstairs at night and talked about ghost stories when we switched off the lights, and well, there were some sound effects too. We even played Murderer, and i was the noob...At night, it was like a lot of people sharing the 2 beds, trying to sleep in all kinds of positions. There was a big screen tv showing Euroo 2004, Germany vs Holland at 2.45am in the morning, but the view was not very good, and no one feels like watching.

It was like 4.30am when i played soccer with xiao zhong, hitler and aloy...and realised that the girls had a lot of POWER...trying to aim for the dustbins...Renjie, ZhiWei, Kallynn and Sylvia went biking and came back about that time. Then, some of us went to watch the sunrise, but we had to walk a really LONG way to get to the spot. And we had to walk and jog back the long way too. Well, it looks like a good morning exercise to me. After that, we went to Changi Airport to send off da jie, Silvia, who was returning back to Indonesia. Her aunt even treated us to breakfast. When we returned to the chalet, there ws nothing to do and i felt quite bored. Many people were sleeping upstairs, and i think nobody had lunch. Jon and Boon Liang and later zhong wei came along too, and we were talking crap downstairs. i left at around 4pm. Had to walk a really really LONG way to the busstop with bus 13 from the chalet. I slept during the bus journey and was on the bus for about an hour before i reached bishan, my home.

When i returned home, the first thing my brother told me was that Lakers lost 100-87 to the Pistons. Pistons won the series 4-1, and are the NBA Champions 2004. I feel really sorry for the Lakers, but the defence of the Pistons is really good. I hope that the core of the Lakers will still remain next season, and we will have another shot at the NBA title.

Today, i went to watch the Best Bet with my pri sch friends at Toa Payoh. It was really FUNNY, especially with the character talking in Hokkien! This is one of the best films from Jack Neo.::

Wad lau, France tyco win England 2-1, through injury time goals by Zidane. The French are really lucky this time. And Beckham actually missed a penalty?? But can't blame him though, its was against his former man utd teammate Fabien Barthez, who knows his style. Some tactical errors by Eriksson...England could have won if they had kept their focus until the final whistle.

And Lakers actually lost again to the Pistons 80-88, and are down 3-1 in the NBA finals. Pistons are 1 win away from the NBA champions. I admit that Pistons have a great defence, shutting down most of the Lakers offence, but i still believe that the Lakers will not give up! They will fight back! The next game will be the key one.::

::Euro 2004 Starts TODAY! This year the competition is held in Portugal. The opening match today is Portugal VS Greece, going to catch it at 12am tomorrow. All the European matches start very early in the morning, have to train myself to have less sleep...who will be the champion this time? I think that France have a very good chance of retaining their title with the abundance of talent in their squad, but great teams, like Italy, England and Holland will pose a great threat to them. Who cares about Henry or Zidane? Almost all of the world's greatest players is going to gather at Portugal!

::yesterday was a little busy, watched the NBA Finals at friends house in the morning, and realised that Lakers lost 87-75 to the Pistons in the first game...hope they can bounce back and get the champion. Went to watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with my old pri sch friend(now at Chinese High) at J8 in the afternoon. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly, overall it was quite fun. Later at night, watched Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone Part 2 on Channel 5...

Today have to go to school for Physics Rememdial, then Fernandez gave us our titles to write for our Extended Essay, which needs a minimum of 1500 words. I am currently in the middle of writing a very long chinese essay on our Harbin trip......Good Memories....::

::Home Sweet Home! I realised that time really flies. After many days of Fun and Excitement, we are finally back in singapore. Suddenly, i feel that this trip is a little short, feel the urge to extend the trip......Learn a lot of stuff during this trip, have a lot of new experience during this trip, and most importantly, make a lot of new friends, including those from china and st nicholas. This certainly is a fruitful trip for all of us, visiting the schools there, and even staying at the students homes for a night...this is certainly an unforgettable experience!
